• Pathways Counseling & Growth Center met--and surpassed--the Quality Assurance standards of the Lorain County Board of Mental Health and the Ohio Department of Mental Health.
• Pathways Counseling & Growth Center achieved a 100% rating in the 2005 and 2006 Medicaid Audit conducted by the Lorain County Board of Mental Health.
• No lawsuits have ever been filed against this agency--or any of its staff--since the agency's founding in 1981.
• Four of five counselors on staff have earned doctorate degrees from an accredited graduate institution.
• Pathways Counseling & Growth Center has a therapist trained and experienced in doing "Infant Therapy" for children aged five and younger.
• The five therapists on staff have a combined total of 75 years of experience.
• The Executive Director of Pathways has been with the agency for 24 years.
• The agency utilizes strategic planning and business planning processes to improve its programs and services.
• Pathways' financial records are audited annually by Alan Januzzi, C.P.A. of Amherst, Ohio.
• Pathways has received more than $304,000.00 in foundation grants since its inception, from the following foundations:
  • The Community Foudnation of Greater Lorain County;
  • The Nord Family Foundation (Lorain County);
  • The Stocker Foundation (Lorain County);
  • The Helen Steiner Rice Foundation of Lorain County; and
  • The Sisters of Charity Foundation of Cleveland.
• The program, services, staff, board of directors, and volunteers are covered by liability insurance through Marsh Advantage America, of Denver, Colorado.
